Servisitis gonore merupakan radang endoserviks yang disebabkan kuman diplokokus Gram negatif, N. gonorrhoeae. Penjaja seks komersial wanita merupakan salah satu kelompok risiko tinggi dan sumber penularan gonore. Saat ini terdapat penurunan kepekaan N. gonorrhoeae terhadap antibiotik  yang direkomendasikan CDC tahun 1998.
    Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas in vitro beberapa antibiotik yang direkomendasikan CDC tahun 1998 terhadap N. gonorrhoeae. Metode penelitian yang digunakan observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, besar sampel 39 galur N. gonorrhoeae.
    Hasil penelitian disimpulkan sebagai berikut: kepekaan N. gonorrhoeae in vitro terhadap spektinomisin 97,4%, seftriakson 84,6%, ofloksasin 74,4%, siprofloksasin 69,2%, dan sefiksim 10,3%.

     Gonococcal cervicitis is an inflammation of endocervix by Gram negative diplococcus, N. gonorrhoeae. Female commercial sex workers are one of the high risk groups and transmitters of N. gonorrhoeae infection. Recently, there is decreased susceptibility of N. gonorrhoeae to the 1998 CDC recommended antibiotics.
    The aim of this study is to evaluate the in vitro efficacy of several antibiotics recommended by CDC in 1998. This observational study uses cross-sectional approach on 39 galurs of N. gonorrhoeae.
    The result is summarized as follows: in vitro sensitivity of N. gonorrhoeae to spectinomycin is 97.4%, ceftriaxone 84.6%, ofloxacin 74.4%, ciprofloxacin 69.2%, and cefixime 10.3%.
