Laser ini memiliki beberapa kelebihan, yaitu gelombang yang lebih panjang (595 nm), waktu pajanan yang lebih lama (0,45-40 milidetik), serta dilengkapi dengan dynamic cooling device (DCD). Dengan gelombang yang lebih panjang, penetrasi sinar laser v beam menjadi lebih dalam. Selain itu panjang gelombang laser ini juga diabsorbsi dengan baik oleh oksihemoglobin. Terapi laser v beam memberikan hasil yang baik dengan efek samping yang minimal. Hal ini menyebabkan laser v beam menjadi baku emas untuk terapi lesi vaskular. Selain itu, modalitas ini telah digunakan pula untuk lesi non vaskular dengan hasil yang baik. |

This laser has many advantages, such as longer wave length (595 nm), longer pulse duration (0,45-40 milisecond), and equipped by dynamic cooling device (DCD). With longer wave length, v beam laser penetration is deeper. This laser wave length is also well absorbed by oxyhemoglobin. V beam laser treatment gives good result with minimal side effects. This has made v beam laser a gold standard for vascular lesions. This modality also has been used for non vascular lesions, with good results.
